Occupational Therapy Assistant


Arlie is a second year Occupational Therapy student at UniSA. Arlie decided to pursue a career in

Occupational Therapy because she wanted to support people to improve their wellbeing and participate in meaningful activities. Arlie values collaborative problem solving and understands the importance of independence and empowerment for clients. She looks forward to working with our clients to help them achieve goals best suited to their unique needs, desires and strengths in their

daily activities.


Arlie has been working in the education sector for over four years. This experience has contributed to her appreciating the importance the physical and social environment has on a person’s wellbeing and participation in occupations. This experience has allowed her to strengthen her understanding of development across the lifespan, behavioural and emotional regulation, empathy, building

trusting relationships and equity service provision for people of all ages and backgrounds. As our Occupational Therapy Assistant, Arlie will provide support to the Occupational Therapists with case management, administering therapeutic programs and basic equipment set up and education.

Zac is an Occupational Therapy student at UniSA who is very excited to learn and work alongside Kube’s skilled team of professionals. Zac is  interested in problem solving and finding unique solutions to help clients engage in meaningful activities. This interest led him to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. He is excited about the diversity within the role, as it offers endless opportunities to work with different populations and address a variety of challenges.

Zac’s placement experience in working with children of all ages has taught him the importance of patience, creativity, and adaptability, which are values he strives to embody in his professional and personal life. He believes therapeutic communication is essential for fostering trust and building meaningful connections, especially when working with children and their families. By showing empathy and tailoring his approach to each individual, Zac aims to create a supportive environment and empower clients to achieve their goals.   

As our Occupational Therapy Assistant, Zac will provide support to the Occupational Therapists with case management, administering therapeutic programs and basic equipment set up and education.
